Literature Text

I'll be here after the lightening's struck
And while the tides are raging
I'll be waiting,
Dreaming,
Watching...
I'll leave, but never completely.
You own my heart,
You've exploited my mind,
But my soul is frightened.
So I'll be here,
For you, for me.
Distractions, ghosts, (moods)
May occur.
Don't think so much.
The fear is only hunger,
For attention, love, and corruption.
I'll be here, waiting,
Watching,
Hiding...
random poem written for lit mag in high school. my advisor liked it.
